The latest Hauser& Wirth online exhibition featuring works of Nicolas Party explores the question in the new series of eleven atmospheric landscapes. The New York-based Swiss artist uses watercolor to focus on the canopy of treetops, where light and air expand. See if his soft colored works created during quarantine in upstate New York will bring to the surface inspiration drawn from use of watercolor in landscapes by Charles Burchfield, George Grosz, Georgia O'Keeffe, and William Turner. 10% of his proceeds of the sale of works from the exhibition that opens on May 7th, the artist will donate to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund of the WHO, in addition to Hauser & Wirth’s commitment to support the Fund through donation of 10% of its gross profits from all online exhibitions.
