Above the Highest Estimates : Artcurial Auction

For the third consecutive year, Artcurial successfully wrapped up actions jewelry, collector timepieces, and vintage Hermès.

Held in the Monaco Yacht Club, the event gathered more than 300 guests, with bidding wars pushing 12 lots above €100,000. In the jewelry action, 1/3 of the lots were sold above their highest estimate. Creations by Place Vendome, Cartier, Boucheron, Van Cleef & Arpels and other celebrated jewel lets generated some heated battle at the auction.

23% progression in auction results for timepieces showcased that Artcurial’s Collector Timepieces department continues to gather momentum, with 2 lots selling above €200,000.

Hermès Winter Collection auction closed the week showed an unprecedented craze for Mediterranean blue, poetically realized by Hermès in its iconic models. This year’s Artcurial Winter Edition auctions wrapped up successfully, having fetched €6.5 M, and the Paris-based auction house has and array of other events coming up next month
