Nicolas Party, a fast-rising Swiss artist based in New York, is now represented by Hauser & Wirth

The artist’s work take on variety of forms, including landscapes, portraits, and still lifes, united by one common feature—bold colors and otherworldly vibe. Party often displays his works atop site-specific wall paintings. Chinese art lovers might be familiar with Party’s works, as one of the artist’s largest exhibitions to date was hosted in M WOODS art space in Beijing.

Hauser & Wirth makes the move to represent the artist, at the time when market’s interest in Party’s work is spiking—at a recent auction a landscape painting by Party was sold at the record highest price for the artist.
