One More Superstar Artist in Hauser & Wirth Gallery Portfolio

From now on, the gallery will represent works of John Chamberlain, pioneer in re-conceptualizing the sculptural form.

It’s been noted in the art world circles, that Hauser & Wirth has been “adding blue-chip artists to its roaster at breakneck speed in recent years”. The gallery announced, that the John Chamberlain Estate will be represented by Hauser&Wirth exclusively worldwide. John Chamberlain, known for his twisted chrome sculptures made from car parts, was a quintessentially American artist. His practice harnessed the expressive potential of an array of materials: from Plexiglas, to resin, paint, foam, and paper bags. Three sculptures, never presented to public, will be unveiled at Art Basel in June as the gallery’s first collaboration with the Chamberlain Estate.
