The gallery put together an exhibition, tribute to preeminent abstract painter and former Yale professor Al Held. The group exhibition features his drawings along with works by his former students. Michael Craig-Martin, Judy Pfaff, and Stanley Whitney acknowledged the impact Held had to their practice. The exhibition puts on view works, united by common themes: the depiction of volumetric space, overt geometry, an the use of color as a structural element.
