Hauser & Wirth New York brings solo U.S. presentation of Pape’s work, a founding member of Brazil’s Neo-Concrete movement. 

On view from September 6th through October 20th, the exhibition brings together iconic works of one of the most significant Brazilian artists of her generation. Lygia Pape valued art that put the viewer and their sensory experience, exploring with sculpture, drawing, engraving, filmmaking, and installation.

Visitors will have a chance to see Pape’s most emblematic works, including ‘Ttéia’ that creates phantom lines and intersections, Amazoninos (large iron wall-mounted sculptures), ‘Roda dos Prazeres’, ‘Jogo de Ténis and more.
