Visible Sound

Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai has never been just about the art: the space in the heart of the People Square park aims to foster cultural exchange, bring the young artists to the world and promote education. MOCA truly explores the bigger purpose and meaning of art—the recent event ‘Visible Sound’ is yet another example. This social project combined music, art and technology to bring the sound in the new form to the children experiencing the hearing loss. With the support of young artistic group OSC, the performance hosted in the museum on March 4th, showcased the power of art which can open hearts.

上海当代艺术馆展现的不仅仅是艺术。这一个上海人心中文化交流的腹地，不断地带给年轻艺术家灵感及启示。上海当代艺术馆确确实实赋予了艺术更深的意义，最近的“看得见的声音”展览就是一个很好的例子。这一个展览了融合了音乐、艺术和现代科技多方面，用另一种形式让有听力障碍的孩子们可以欣赏到美妙的音乐。3月4日由年轻艺术团体OSC带来的演出，展示了艺术可以打开所有人的心扉的奇特力量。
