CROX studio showcased its latest work Liyang Museum in Venice Architecture Biennale.

Themed “Freespace”, this year’s Biennale in Venice explores urban symbiosis formed through the communication between people and architecture. Free-flowing Liyang museum is the latest work of China-based studio CROX, stemming from the concept of ancient songs completed in a very progressive natural building.

CROX’s model of the Liyang museum combines past, present and future, creating an opportunity to let architecture communicate with the earth. The building is divided into two functional bodies, fused into a cloud-like shape for urban planning.

The museum is currently under construction.
