LACMA’s 12th Annual Art+Film Gala Honors Judy Baca and David Fincher, Raises Over $5 Million

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) celebrated its 12th annual Art+Film Gala on November 4, 2023, with a remarkable tribute to artist Judy Baca and filmmaker David Fincher. The event, co-chaired by LACMA trustee Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, featured an electrifying performance by Lenny Kravitz. With over 650 distinguished guests from the realms of art, film, fashion, and entertainment, the Gala marked a momentous evening for the cultural community.

Gucci, a longstanding collaborator with LACMA since the inaugural Art+Film Gala in 2011, returned as the presenting sponsor for this year's event, with Sabato De Sarno, Gucci's Creative Director, serving as the Gala Host Committee Chair. The Gala raised in excess of $5 million, providing crucial support for LACMA's ongoing initiatives to integrate film into its curatorial programming, along with its broader mission.
