As the 19th Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) concludes, the city bids farewell to an extraordinary celebration of cinema that defied the allure of sunny weather. With an impressive turnout of 130,000 visitors and a diverse lineup of 150 films, 52 of which premiered for the first time in the world or Europe, the ZFF once again asserted its position as a premier cinematic event.

Hollywood luminaries graced the occasion, with Jessica Chastain, Ethan Hawke, Diane Kruger, and Mads Mikkelsen adding a touch of glamour. Their expressions of enthusiasm for Zurich on social media added to the festival's allure.

Directors attended and provided introductions for 102 of the 150 films screened, fostering a unique interaction between filmmakers and audiences. This personalized touch contributed significantly to the festival's charm.

The festival marked the inauguration of the Frame cinema complex on Europa-Allee, boasting six theaters with a combined seating capacity of 800. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, expansive screens, and plush seating, Frame became an instant hit with cinephiles.
