"THE REGIME" unfolds within the confines of a modern authoritarian regime, exploring the unraveling life within its walls. Chancellor Elena Vernham (Kate Winslet), increasingly paranoid and unstable, forms an unlikely alliance with a volatile soldier, Herbert Zubak (Matthias Schoenaerts). As Zubak's influence grows, Elena's attempts to expand her power lead to the fracturing of both the palace and the country.
