Netflix has unveiled an extended collaboration with comedian Shane Gillis, encompassing a six-episode acquisition of his scripted comedy series, "Tires," and the confirmation of a new stand-up special. Here are the key highlights:
Tires" Series Premiere The scripted comedy series, "Tires," starring Shane Gillis and Steven Gerben, is set to premiere on May 23. Gillis serves as an executive producer, writer, and co-creator of the series, which revolves around Will, an unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, attempting to revitalize his father's business despite constant challenges from his cousin Shane.
Second Stand-Up Specia Following the success of his 2023 special, "Beautiful Dogs," which reached the Netflix Top 10 in multiple countries, Gillis is set to deliver a new stand-up special on Netflix. "Beautiful Dogs" spent two weeks in the US Top 10 list.
Live Shows at Netflix is a Joke Fest Shane Gillis is scheduled to perform live at the 2024 Netflix is a Joke Fest in Los Angeles, with shows at the Greek Theater on May 4 and the Kia Forum on May 8.
