William Bell, HANSON, Elle King, and More to Grace the Stage at Inaugural GRAMMY Hall of Fame Gala

Los Angeles, May 15, 2024 - The excitement is building as the lineup for the inaugural GRAMMY Hall Of Fame Gala continues to grow. Joining previously announced performers Andra Day, Ravyn Lenae, Shinedown, and The War and Treaty are William Bell, HANSON, and Elle King. Set to take place on May 21, 2024, at The Novo in Downtown Los Angeles, this star-studded event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music history.
The evening will kick off with a red carpet and VIP reception on the Ray Charles Terrace at the GRAMMY Museum, followed by a one-of-a-kind concert at The Novo. Hosted by veteran CBS broadcast journalist Anthony Mason, the Gala will also feature Michael Sticka, President/CEO of the GRAMMY Museum, Harvey Mason jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, and Julie Greenwald, chairperson and CEO of Atlantic Records Group.
The performers will pay tribute to the 2024 GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inducted recordings. Highlights include Andra Day performing a song from Lauryn Hill’s "The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill," William Bell performing his classic “You Don’t Miss Your Water,” The War and Treaty taking on Charley Pride’s “Kiss An Angel Good Morning,” Elle King reviving Wanda Jackson’s “Let’s Have A Party,” HANSON delivering the Doobie Brothers’ “What A Fool Believes,” Ravyn Lenae honoring Roberta Flack with “Killing Me Softly,” and Shinedown rocking out to Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven.”
The 2024 Hall Of Fame Gala will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inducted recordings, which include timeless classics like De La Soul’s "3 Feet High And Rising," Guns N’ Roses’ "Appetite For Destruction," Buena Vista Social Club’s self-titled album, and Lauryn Hill’s iconic "The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill," among others.
Longtime Executive Producer of the GRAMMY Awards, Ken Ehrlich, alongside Chantel Sausedo and Ron Basile, will produce this year’s show. The musical direction will be led by globally renowned producer and keyboardist Greg Phillinganes. The Gala is presented by City National Bank.
In conjunction with the Hall Of Fame Gala, an online auction featuring guitars signed by major artists like Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and platinum tickets to the 2025 GRAMMY Awards is currently underway. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the GRAMMY Museum.
Established in 1973 by the Recording Academy's National Trustees, the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame honors recordings of lasting significance in the history of music. Recipients will receive an official certificate from the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum.
