Fresh locations, new characters, and more romance: It’s a season of change for Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper.
It's time for Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) to update her language-learning app because our favorite American in Paris is headed to a new European destination in Emily in Paris Season 4: Rome. And now you can watch the trailer featuring Emily living her best Roman Holiday life before Part 2 launches on September 12.
In this highly anticipated season, Emily’s journey takes her beyond the charming streets of Paris to the historic and romantic city of Rome. The trailer teases Emily embracing her new surroundings with her signature style and flair, complete with an Audrey Hepburn-inspired wardrobe that pays homage to classic films like *Roman Holiday* and *Charade*. Creator Darren Star explains, “I’ve always felt this wonderful kinship between not just Lily and Audrey Hepburn, but the spirit of those movies, that ‘Old Hollywood’ feeling, and *Emily in Paris*. Audrey Hepburn captured it so well in her movies—romantic comedies that were sophisticated and international.”
Season 3 left fans on the edge of their seats with a dramatic twist—Emily learns that her on-and-off flirt buddy and neighbor Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) is expecting a baby with his on-and-off girlfriend and Emily's friend, Camille (Camille Razat). As the new season unfolds, it’s clear that Emily’s love life is about to get even more complicated.
In addition to the drama, *Emily in Paris* Season 4 promises breathtaking new locations, including the snow-covered Alps, where Emily channels Audrey Hepburn’s iconic ski outfit from *Charade*. As Darren Star teases, "Emily finds herself with a busy travel schedule. From the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, viewers will vicariously experience amazing new locations through Emily’s eyes. Expect new characters, a lot more drama, romance, and a whole new language to try and master."
Lily Collins, who embodies the ever-optimistic and stylish Emily, shares her excitement about the character's evolution. "Now that Emily’s lived in Paris longer and has gotten to know her new friends even better, she has that trust now," Collins says. "She’s created a safe space where she can be extra vulnerable. I love that now the glitzy side of her optimism can balance out with the reality of some vulnerability."
As Emily navigates her complicated relationships, career challenges, and new cultural experiences, fans can expect a season filled with humor, heart, and, of course, chic fashion. From a dramatic encounter with Gabriel and Camille to new romantic prospects in Rome, the trailer hints at a season full of twists and turns that will keep viewers hooked until the very end.
