Rolling Stone is making its return to Austin for the third annual Future of Music showcase at SXSW 2025, presented by JBL. From March 11-14, ACL Live at the Moody Theater will host an electrifying lineup featuring rising stars like Benson Boone, Megan Moroney, Ivan Cornejo, Rema, and more. This highly anticipated event highlights the artists shaping the future of music.
Gus Wenner, CEO of Rolling Stone, shared his excitement about the event, emphasizing that the showcase represents the publication’s vision for what’s new and next in music. Coinciding with Rolling Stone’s Future of Music print issue, hitting newsstands in April, the event will also spotlight talent from the annual Future 25 list, a collection of artists that the magazine believes are defining the future of the industry.
The showcase kicks off on March 11 with performances by Benson Boone, Hannah Bahng, LAILA!, Jasmine 4.t, Duplexity, and DJ Mel. March 12 will feature Megan Moroney, Stephen Wilson Jr., Larkin Poe, Brittney Spencer, DJs Moonshine, and Prison Rodeo. On March 13, the stage will welcome Ivan Cornejo, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Nsqk, GALE, and Riobamba. The final night on March 14 will bring performances from Rema, Anycia, Samara Cyn, AJ McQueen, and Annabelle Kline.
All SXSW Badge Holders, including Platinum, Music, Film & TV, and Interactive, as well as Music Wristband Holders, will receive priority admission. Fans without SXSW credentials can RSVP for entry on a first-come, first-served basis, though admission is not guaranteed.
SXSW 2025 runs from March 7-15 in Austin, TX, offering a mix of music showcases, film screenings, conference sessions, and exhibitions. Rolling Stone’s Future of Music showcase promises to be a highlight of the festival, bringing together some of the most exciting names in the industry.
