Sundance Contribution to Emerging Artists

The renowned institution announced 2017 Art of Nonfiction Fellows and Grantees—supporting the artists from different disciplines. 

The Art of Nonfiction Initiative supports the pioneering artists of nonfiction filmmaking, and this year it expanded its fellowship and grants program to include writing fellows. Tabitha Jackson, Director of Sundance Institute’s Documentary Film Program believes, that we are living ‘at a time when the independent voice has never been more necessary’. This year, these are the voices of nonfiction, that got support thanks to Sundance: Theo Anthony, Garrett Bradley, Sierra Pettengill, Iva Radivojevic, Ra’anan Alexandrowicz, Yance Ford and others.
