The Positive Planet Foundation celebrated its anniversary in a special way—hosting a Gala Dinner with a preceding auction orchestrated by Simon de Pury. The auction featured contemporary art pieces including Chalks, a mixed media work which Pascale Marthine Tayou produced specially for the occasion. Other auction lots included mixed media on canvas work by Swiss artist John Armleder, known for his performance art in the 60s and 70s, office chair by Pierre Jeanneret, painting by Fabrice Hyber to name a few. The auction also featured some unique experiences like a private portrait session with Joel Mesler.

 All proceeds from the evening were to be donated to Positive Planet’s programs for women empowerment in Sub-Saharan Africa, Israel, and Lebanon, as the Foundation has been committed to the issue of women empowerment since its creation.
