Aside from iconic designs, recognizable at first glance, Cartier is perhaps lesser known for its support of women-run businesses through Women’s Initiative Awards established in 2006.

The brand’s desire to support female entrepreneurs has strong roots: back in 1930 Cartier’s set a precedent for strong female leadership by naming Jeanne Toussaint its creative director.
