The Gucci-sponsored gala brought Hollywood and museum world closer. The event, which gathered over 850 stylish guest helped raise funds for the museum and celebrate this year’s honorees— artist Catherine Opie and filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, both embodying the blurring of boundaries between creative communities and breaking of barriers.

The A-list event, co-chaired by LACMA trustees Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, raised a record amount of money to support the museum’s film initiatives, future exhibitions, acquisitions, and programming.
