Special Olympics Takes it to the Cold Waters

Freezing for a Reason - Special Olympics athletes and Board of Directors jump started the 2017 edition.

We are talking literally jump start - a collective plunge into the icy abyss of the Sport Royer in Austria on March 19th. A number of honored guests attended the event, including top model, philanthropist and dedicated supporter of Special Olympics, Natalia Vodianova together with her kids.

Special Olympics transforms lives through sports—it is the world’s largest sports ogranization for people with intellectual disabilities. It helps nearly 5 million athletes in 169 countries to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy of sports.
