Filippo Del Corno / Councilor for Culture

In 2013 Filippo Del Corno was named the Councilor for Culture in his native Milan, in recognition of his work as a composer. His pieces and operas have been played by some of the world’s most famous orchestras and groups at various venues and festivals including the Venice Biennale, London Symphony and the South Bank Centre. As Councilor for Culture his job allows him to dedicate time to the promotion of the arts, including the EXPO 2015.
