The collaboration, which first kicked off during Milan Fashion Week last February, grew to a new level. Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele has extended a partnership with young Spanish artist Coco Capitán, to the apparel and accessories capsule collection. Available from the end of July, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, coats, tote backpacks and funny packs will feature some of the artist’s witty statements. ‘Common sense is not that common’, ‘What are we going to do with all this future?’, ‘Tomorrow is now yesterday’ —those became the signature statements of the artist, who believes in creating a ‘linguistic masterpiece that feels like your favorite painting’.
