Paris-Rome-Beijing: Chanel's cinema-style cross-border collection
Chanel has long made its mark shaping the world of fashion not only with the collections, which become iconic instantly after the last model steps off the runway, but with runway shows themselves. 
Karl Lagerfeld has a long history of surprising the exquisite crowds, but taking Métiers d’Art show to the heart of Italian cinema, Cinecittà movie set last December was quite a happening of other sorts. 

Now the silhouettes from the Paris in Rome 2015/16 Métiers d’Art collection are set to be unveiled in Beijing on May 31st.  

Cinecittà is a legendary place where ‘Roman Holidays’, ‘La Dolce Vita’, ‘Cleopatra’ and many other cinematic masterpieces were born. And last winter another fashion masterpiece by Chanel was born there. 

Karl Lagerfeld took the guests to the Paris of yesteryear, creating the French atmosphere in Federico Fellini’s favorite studio. To set the tone, designer screened his latest short Once and Forever, starring Kristen Stewart as Coco. 

As for the collection: Chanel showcased exceptionally textured and embellished looks, classic with a twist, in the brand’s best traditions.

香奈儿长期以来，以其独特的设计和最新的造型为众人追捧。

卡尔·拉格斐儿德在与香奈儿的长期合作中，有不少作品为人惊叹，但是将这个秀场搬去意大利电影腹地的做法，却是意外的惊喜。

去年十二月在巴黎罗马等地展出的2015-2016 Métiers d’Art艺术收藏的电影将于5月31日在北京亮相。

Cinecittà是诸多著名电影诞生之地，如罗马假日、甜蜜的生活、埃及艳后等等。去年冬天香奈儿的另一时尚力作也在那里产生。

拉格菲尔德将客人带回到昔日的巴黎，在费里尼最喜爱的工作室里创造出了浓郁的法国气息。设计师展现了他最新的作品Once and Forever，克里斯汀·斯图尔特饰演Coco。

对于今年的新品，香奈儿一如既往地重视这质感和外观的装饰，经典但又不失亮点，这也是香奈儿品牌一贯的传统。
