Kartell’s iconic design Componibili turns 50 and the anniversary celebrations come to the digital space with a new Arcade-style iOS game. 

Anna Castelli Ferrieri, the co-founder of Kartell, was a representative of a generation of Italian designers who transformed the world of design with new technologies and materials. Her innovative, functional modules design made the Componibili into one of Kartell’s best sellers. Fifty years later, it’s a piece of furniture, that is celebrated with anniversary exhibitions in Milan, New York, London and Brussels, and in the digital space. Kartell made an arcade-style game, a tribute to the 1960s, the decade which saw the birth of Componibili.Players can indulge in nostalgia and consider the stylish functionality of Componibili, stacking four pieces of the same colour on top of the other.
