Chanel offers us an alternative ‘travel’ to favorite places of Gabrielle Chanel with these 3 new fragrances.

Deauville, Biarritz, and Venice—-these French cities were something more than just holiday spots that Gabrielle Chanel frequented. It was in Deauville, the seaside town by the English Channel, where the designer launched her first collection in 1912. Biarritz became the next destination in the brand’s expansion plans three years later, and Venice gave Gabrielle Chanel refuge after the death of her lover, Boy Capel, at the same time bringing her creativity to the next level.

This season, Olivier Polge created a unique, fresh collection of fragrances, inspired by these iconic French holiday spots, that played a remarkable role in Chanel’s life. Notes of orange peel, basil leaf and patchouli bottled in Paris-Deauville, sea-influenced Paris-Biarritz, or feminine red fruit scent with iris, cedarwood and vanilla of Paris-Venice——-the new Chanel fragrance line has a lot to offer.
