A Tribute to Le Corbusier
La Biennale Paris is back, and Galerie Downtown is exhibiting in its best tradition.
The Biennale des Antiquaires may have changed the name and became an annual event from 2017, but it didn’t lose what makes it special. From September 11th-17th, at Grand Palais in Paris it will once again gather the art lovers from across the world.
This year, Francois Laffanour Galerie Downtown pays a tribute to Le Corbusier, whose architectural work was recognized as World Heritage of UNESCO. Even though Charles-Edouard Jeanneret known as Le Corbusier is identified above all as an architect, he is also known for his furniture creations, very few pieces of which were edited.
After exhibiting two rare tapestries designed around 1950, the gallery exhibits the sculpture ‘Ozon Opus I’, as well as works of Jean Prouve, Charlotte Perriand, and Ettore Sottsass.
The Biennale des Antiquaires
