Liu Jianhua

Liu Jian Hua doesn’t only create sculptures and installations—in his hand's ceramics speaks.

His works, that mix familiar objects with symbolism, reflect the economic and social changes in China, touching upon personal, global and aesthetic issues. Each installation is a statement about the world in which we live that allows the audience to cast their own thoughts in a multitude of directions.

The artist came a long way from working in a porcelain sculpture studio in 1977 to solo shows and group exhibitions worldwide. The range and depths of his works have been recognized with several awards including the 7th Award of Art China.

刘建华自1977年以来一直都在瓷器雕塑工作室工作，其作品参展了世界各地大大小小的展览。无论是他作品的多变风格还是深度，都令世界瞩目。多年来受到了多种奖项，包括第七届中国艺术奖。
