Songs for Sabotage

The New Museum’s fourth Triennial amounts to a call for action, an active engagement to create the common experience.

The New Museum Triennial is the only recurring international exhibition in New York City, that is devoted to global emerging artists. This year it will bring together approximately 30 artists from 19 countries to explore technological, economic, and material structures that stand in the way of collectivity. On the view from February 13th until May 27th, Songs for Sabotage will exhibit works across mediums by global artists, the majority of whom are exhibiting in the United States for the first time. While ranging widely in medium and form, viewed together these works aim to give a new perspective to reflect upon the connections of images, culture and the forces that structure our society.
