Sundance Film Festival : Hong Kong

From September 17th to the 27th, Hong Kong will once again welcome the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Last year’s Film Festival in Hong Kong featured the Hong Kong premiere of Whiplash, which received five Academy Award nominations and won three. This year, the Festival will screen 11 films featured in the Festival in Park City, Utah. The films include Advantageous; Cartel Land; Dope; James White; Me and Earl and the Dying Girl; People, Places, Things; Songs My Brothers Taught Me;The End of the Tour; The Stanford Prison Experiment; The Witch and The Wolfpack. John Cooper, the Director of the Sundance Film Festival expresses his thoughts: “Building on last year’s impactful cinematic and cultural experience, Sundance Institute returns to Hong Kong with a strong slate of cutting-edge independent film We are excited to bring filmmakers to share new stories and a unique artistic vision with audiences at the Metroplex.”

9月17日到27日，香港将再次迎来2015年辛丹斯电影节，在去年电影节上，电影Whiplash在香港拿到五个学院奖项和三个提名奖。今年，电影节将在犹他州城市公园播放11部电影。这些电影是Cartel Land; Dope; James White; Me and Earl and the Dying Girl; People, Places, Things; Songs My Brothers Taught Me;The End of the Tour; The Stanford Prison Experiment; The Witch and The Wolfpack.
