The Sundance film festival, a groundbreaking happening in the cinema world has just finished another successful edition. Meet the people behind the awards decisions.

It's done: the festival, which was a starting point for some of the most prominent films over the past three decades, wrapped up another successful edition. Those who couldn't attend the ceremony in the Park City on January 28th, could still be in the momentum, as it was live-streamed. They saw “I don’t feel at home in this world anymore.” and ‘Dina’ becoming the grand jury winners in the U.S. dramatic and documentary competitions. The festival’s lineup was extensive and this year the following experts determined the awards fate:

The U.S. Documentary jury--  French filmmaker Diego Buñuel, Emmy Award winning producer Julie Goldman, Sundance-winning filmmaker and writer Robert Greene, iconic documentaries master Susan Lacy and Emmy Award winner Larry Wilmore.

The U.S. Dramatic Jury features Golden Globe winner Gael Garcia Bernal, Peter Dinklage, whose nest film is scheduled for festival's screening, writer-director Jody Hill, director of the AFI Fest Jacqueline Lvanga and production designer Jeannine Oppewall.

Producer Nai An, actress Sonia Braga and director Athina Rachel Tsangari joined the World Cinema Dramatic jury, while the documentary category of World Cinema is going to be judged by film curator Carl Spence, screenwriter Marina Stavenhagen and filmmaker Lynette Wallworth.

Comedian Patton Oswalt, costume designer Shirley Kurata and filmmaker David Lowery are on the Short Film jury.

Finally, Alfred P.Sloan Feature Film Prize Jury gathered perhaps the most diverse experts: from screenwriter Nicole Perlman and director Jennifer Phang to cognitive neuroscientist Heather Berlin, flight systems engineer Tracy Drain and NPR science correspondent Nell Greenfieldboyce. There were some hard tasks ahead of these selected experts, we may not have seen the heated debated behind the award process, but this year's Sundance, as always, will be a talk of the cinema world for a long while.
