Netflix Announces Release Date for Limited Series "Senna" on November 29

São Paulo, July 18, 2024 — Netflix has officially announced the release date for "Senna," the highly anticipated limited series about the legendary motor racing icon Ayrton Senna. The series is set to premiere on November 29 and promises to captivate audiences with an in-depth look at the life and career of the three-time Formula 1 champion.

The announcement was accompanied by the debut of the series' official key art, featuring Gabriel Leone as Ayrton Senna. The striking image shows Senna on the racetrack, holding his iconic green and yellow helmet.

Over the course of six episodes, "Senna" will provide an unprecedented glimpse into Ayrton Senna's journey. The series will cover his early career in kart racing, his move to Formula Ford in England, and his rise to fame in Formula 1, culminating in his tragic accident during the San Marino Grand Prix in Imola, Italy. The show aims to reveal the personal side of Senna, exploring his relationships, triumphs, and sorrows.

Vicente Amorim serves as the showrunner and director, alongside Julia Rezende, who also directs the series. "Senna" is produced by Gullane, in partnership with Senna Brands and the driver's family.
