The summer version of iconic film festival returns to Los Angeles for this year’s edition on August 10-13th.

The popular NEXT section at the Sundance Film Festival showcases stylistically adventurous and bold films, like Obvious Child, Tangerine, James White, Escape from Tomorrow to name a few. The NEXT FEST is an extension of that section, a warmer version of the Festival, bathed in the summer sun of LA, with music and talent accompanying the high-energy lineup of independent films. For four days in August the festival will take over one of the most remarkable places in the city—The Theatre at Ace Hotel, a reanimation of a 1920s movie palace.
