Summer of Film in Utah

Sundance Institute expands its fee summer film screenings with the largest lineup in 21 years. 

This summer, grab your picnic baskets, blankets or low-back lawn chairs and even your pets (for special pet-inclusive screenings) to see iconic Sundance selection of movies outdoors. From Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, to Brigsby Bear, Man on Wire and Won’t You Be My Neighbour?— for the 21st year, free screenings in Utah return with 11 Sundance favorites. 

Starting on June 16th, this year Sundance’s screenings and off-screen activities will take place in Salt Lake City, Park City, Ogden, Kamas, and St.George. Ten of the films in the series got their start at the Sundance Film Festival, and three were filmed in Utah. The audience will also be able to vote, deciding the final film of the series from a selection of classic films, which were supported through Sundance Institute.
