Stefano Beltrame / Consul General of Italy

Since turning from his background in industry into the world of diplomacy, Stefano Beltrame has travelled extensively and published several books. His previous positions include postings in Kuwait, Germany, Iran and the US, and he is now the Italian Consul General for the Italian Consulate in Shanghai. Working for closer ties between China and Italy, he actively supports business exchange and promotes cultural integration. This year marks the forty-fifth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

自从转行进入外交圈，斯蒂法诺·贝尔特拉梅就频繁旅行并且出版了好几本书。由于之前的工作，他被委派到科威特、德国、伊朗还有美国，他现任意大利驻上海领事馆总领事。他积极地支持双边的商务往来推动文化交流，进一步加深中意关系。今年是两国建交的四十五周年。
