Meet Stella McCartney’s Loop Sneakers—a wish-list must of conscious shoppers and fashionistas alike

Eighteen months ago Stella McCartney brand started the research and development of the first fully recyclable sneakers, and now the Loop Sneakers are officially launched. Stella McCartney, is perhaps one of the brands, that comes to minds of even an average consumer when asked about sustainable fashion. Now the brand is enhancing its commitment to eco-friendly fashion even further, combating the footprint of footwear production. Typically, shoes are made from inseparable components, which means any pair you have in your closet is difficult to recycle. 

Using pioneering techniques, Loop Sneakers have a detachable sole that uses clips instead of glue, while the upper part of the shoe is made and stitched together with eco-friendly materials. Launched in the latest McCartney’s Autumn 2018 collection, the sneakers are now available in three designs for both men and women.
