Celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger, who styles Lupita Nyong’o and Jared Leto for red carpets, had this to say: I think that’s what’s so special about Christian Louboutin is that you get to have fun with what you put on your feet. There’s fantasy and humor and thoughtfulness in every single design. So if you’re looking for the glitzy, sparkly shoe or something with a little edge, they have it.” She also adds that on the red carpet, “Christian Louboutin’s Vendome platform peep-toe is a staple” and that she gets them in “dye-to-match during awards season and most of her clients love it. They are comfortable, and they work with every possible dress.”
