African Art, Chagall, Conversations Across Time at LACMA

Plan your art year ahead—the Los Angeles County Museum of Art unveiled its advance exhibitions schedule. 

LACMA's collection includes an impressive array of objects, while representing LA' unique diversity, Asian, Latin American, Islamic art and cross-cultural dialogues are among the museum's strengths. 

Currently on view are exhibitions that look into modernism formation in Europe and Latin America (Picasso and Rivera), greatest achievements of German art in the age of Renaissance and Reformation, LA artists legacy, Japanese graphic design and immersive experiences to name a few. 

The upcoming exhibitions on the schedule, recently unveiled by the museum, extend long into 2018 and includes an array of anticipated events: from Chagall to LACMA's iconic installation Smoke, first comprehensive retrospective of Moholy-Nagy and transcendence in African Arts.
