Grumpy Bear Spinoff in Israel
Tel Aviv Museum of Art will host a debut exhibition in Israel of one of the most prominent young artists working today in France.
Specially created for the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and presented in two separate spaces, Sculpt: Grumpy Bear, The Great Spinoff will be in view from November 29th until April 30, 2019. The French artist’s collection of work, which title drew inspiration by the children’s television program “Care Bears”, expands for the Tel Aviv show, including film, sculpture, lighting, sound, and movement.
What to expect? NASA cloud generator, Charlotte Rampling wearing Grumpy Bear outfit and fragments from J.G. Ballard’s science fiction novels— the organizers promise to combine all elements to an atmosphere that is simultaneously futuristic, dramatic, and dystopic.
