Lévy Gorvy will organize an exhibition devoted entirely to Andy Warhol’s portraits of women. On view from April 25th through June 15th, WARHOL WOMEN spans years of prolific artistic career, inviting the audience to see through seemingly impersonal, ‘factory-style’ made portraits, to ponder Warhol’s complex relationship to myths and ideals of femininity, beauty, and power.
Save the date, and spend a day in the company of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Marilyn Monroe, Mona Lisa, Ethel Scull, Gertrude Stein and more extraordinary women portrayed by Warhol.
