MoMA announced the first U.S. exhibition to encompass the entire career of Stephen Shore. 

Stephen Shore is among the photographers who rose to prominence in the 79s by capturing everyday scenes. He worked with many different formats, reflecting the context of his time. The exhibition set for opening on November 19th until spring 2018, will give the audience a chance not only to track the artist’s work evolution but the changes it lived through. From Shore’s days at Andy Warhol’s Factory through the rise of color photography and the transition to digital realm—the changes, you can read through in his photographs, allowing for a fuller understanding of the diversity his career put out there.
