Fausto Puglisi debuts at Pitti Uomo: bad boy’s bold luxury

Pitti Uomo is a happening, which fashionistas and mere mortals await anxiously, to spot the hottest street style looks donned by the most elegant crowd of men at least. This year the iconic Italian fashion event celebrates a 45th anniversary and sure thing they wanted to celebrate it big: with surprising shows, exhibitions, and other fashion events.

It has been a true feast for the eyes and many new names emerged as usual on the world's most important platform for launching men clothing projects, but some of the established ones had a few surprises up their sleeves too. Fausto Puglisi, the creator of the most daring red carpet outfits made his debut in men's fashion.

Puglisi is a star designer, no doubts—Madonna, Katy Perry. Beyonce, Rita Ora are a few names on the long list of admirers. Add fierce-looking models with body-covering tattoos and you get the picture—the collection might have looked too much like a costume, rather than wearable male clothing. But it's clear that to pull off a Puglisi man look, the clothing should come with a bold personality, just like the designer himself.
